All new QNB Al Islami Qatar Airways Titanium MasterCard holders will receive 6,000 Qmiles on completion of their first purchase worth QR500, as well as a host of benefits exclusive to Premium MasterCard holders.
Doha, 05 July 2010 - QNB Al Islami today announced the launch of the new QNB Al Islami Qatar Airways Titanium MasterCard which is the first Islamic Titanium MasterCard offered in Qatar that complies with Sharia banking principles.
To celebrate the first premium Islamic Titanium MasterCard offered in Qatar, QNB Al Islami will be giving all new Titanium credit card customers an instant bonus of 6,000 Qmiles on completing their first QR500 transaction with the new card plus an attractive Qmiles earn rate of 1 Qmile for every QR 6 spent till 31st December 2010.
In addition to helping customers upgrade or extend their summer vacation flights, this campaign was inspired by growing customer utilization of the Qmiles earned on QNB Al Islami credit card purchases. The new Islamic Titanium MasterCard also answers customer demand for more premium card options that provide enhanced privileges, as well as best-in-class Qmiles earn rates.
Existing QNB Al Islami credit card customers as well as new customers are eligible to apply for the Titanium card, provided they earn a monthly minimum salary of QR7,500. Existing customers with Classic or Gold credit cards can also upgrade to the new Islamic Titanium MasterCard if they meet the salary requirements.
The Islamic Titanium MasterCard offers a host of benefits including the option of a minimum monthly payment of only 10% of the total outstanding balance, an attractive earn rate of 1 Qmile for every QR8 spent at points of sale, as well as access to a growing number of airport lounge programs that include the Marhaba Lounge in Dubai. Customers will also be able to complete cash advance withdrawals of up to 100% of their authorized credit limit.
In addition, as per the terms and conditions of the credit card agreement, QNB Al Islami Titanium MasterCard holders will receive purchase protection and extended warranties on purchases. They will also receive comprehensive travel insurance as well as Takaful insurance upon activation of their credit cards.
